Smart Life App Setup Guide

Selected EVPOVO smart EV chargers support WiFi app control through the Smart Life app. You can use the app to start or stop charging, schedule charging sessions, monitor charging data, and view charging history.

Before You Start please make sure:

• Your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network
• Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
• The charger is powered on
• Your phone is close to the charger
• The WiFi password is correct
• The charger is in pairing mode

Important WiFi Requirement

EVPOVO smart chargers support 2.4 GHz WiFi. A 5 GHz-only network is not supported.

If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under the same WiFi name, pairing may fail on some routers. In that case, we recommend creating a separate 2.4 GHz WiFi name for setup.

Basic Setup Steps

1. Download the Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Create or log in to your Smart Life account.
3. Turn on Bluetooth and connect your phone to 2.4 GHz WiFi.
4. Power on the charger.
5. Open the Smart Life app and add a new device.
6. Follow the in-app instructions to complete pairing.

Troubleshooting Tips

If pairing fails, please try:

• Move your phone closer to the charger
• Confirm you are using 2.4 GHz WiFi
• Restart the charger
• Restart your router
• Check that the WiFi password is correct
• Disable VPN during setup
• Try using an Android phone with a 2.4 GHz hotspot to test pairing
